Veryan Palmer Joins Non-Executive Board of Pride of Britain
Hotel Director Veryan Palmer has joined the non-executive board of the prestigious Pride of Britain Hotels consortium.
The board oversees the 50-strong collection of Britain’s finest independently owned luxury and boutique hotels, of which The Headland is one.
Veryan said: “I am truly delighted to be joining the board as part of a brilliant group of hoteliers who really care about guest experiences.”
Veryan’s first job at The Headland, owned by her parents John and Carolyn Armstrong, was at the tender age of 10, when she put stamps on guest Christmas cards.
As a teenager she became involved in children’s entertainment and she has since undertaken roles in housekeeping, kitchen, bar, restaurants, reservations and management.
Veryan will work with other board members and with the fantastic Pride of Britain leadership team, headed by CEO Kalindi Juneja, to focus on the strategy of the luxury British hotel marketing consortium.
