Headland Highlights

A look back at  a bewitching month

As we bid farewell to October, let’s take a look back at another memorable month at The Headland, filled with autumnal delights, seasonal treats, and just the right amount of Halloween magic. From witch-inspired brews to cosy half-term family activities, October at The Headland brought our guests a host of unforgettable experiences. Here’s a recap of all the highlights we enjoyed this past month.

The Wickedly Witchy Afternoon Brew

October’s Afternoon Tea was a spooktacular affair! Inspired by our reputation as 'The Witches Hotel', our Wickedly Witchy Afternoon Brew featured a hauntingly delicious spread of treats inspired by the 90's film, The Witches. This enchanting twist on our traditional afternoon tea is proving more and more popular every year. Be sure to book early for 2025!

Half-Term Fun for Families

October’s half-term break brought a wave of excitement for families visiting The Headland. The sea was still warm enough for sessions with Surf Sanctuary and many guests braved the two beach and surf safety training for our residents, hosted by Dom.

Cosy Up: The Clocks Go Back

As the clocks turned back, The Headland embraced the longer, cosier nights with plenty of fireside spaces for guests to unwind. Many guests took advantage of this time to enjoy a sunset coastal walk, followed by a warming drink in The Ballroom, a true celebration of the simple joys of autumn.

A memorable October at The Headland

October at The Headland was everything we love about autumn: cosy, vibrant, and filled with seasonal charm. We loved sharing this past month with our guests, from families looking for half-term adventure to couples enjoying quiet getaways. As we move into November, we look forward to even more exciting seasonal surprises – and we’re already counting down to next October to do it all over again!
